Por curiosidad de saber de la existencia de ecuatorianos y sobre toso ambateños en argentina, que hicieron vida en Argentina, me llevo a dar con el paradero aunque solo por email del ecuatoriano Alfredo Pareja que su infancia lo realizo lo realizo en Ambato y la adolescencia en Quito, de 83 años, que a pesar de sus añitos envía sus email bien claritos. Quien me comentaba, que vive por más de cinco décadas en Argentina. Don Alfredo como lo digo, un cantante de opera, fue contratado en Argentina para que realizara una serie de presentaciones. En Olavarría localidad oeste de la provincia de Buenos Aires en donde reside actualmente se sintió querido y decidió pasar el resto de su vida en este lugar.
Con el esfuerzo de su trabajo llegó a tener una pequeña fortuna y realizó un proyecto, anhelado por mucho tiempo: construir una escuela donde se pudiera educar a niños de escasos recursos. Hace 20 años fundó el centro educativo República del Ecuador. Cuando Alfredo contó su historia, me emocione y le pedí conocer el establecimiento. Me fue grato saber que con todo gusto estaría presto a tener una charla, así mismo quería que esté presente cuando se entone el himno del Ecuador coreado por los chicos argentinos. Mejor dicho me emocionaría mucho más si oyera el himno nacional, me sentiría patriota y porque no unas cuantas lagrimas de la emoción.
Bueno será tema de otro editorial, a pesar de su larga enfermedad espero que no sea tarde el dia del crucial encuentro, porque si algo llevo en mi corazón Ardiente y Mente lúcida es mi PAIS ECUADOR, y como Altivo Ambateño.
